Becoming a member of The Wyld Oath
Joining a coven is not a decision to be taken lightly, and we do not invite it lightly either. When you become part of The Wyld Oath, you are not simply joining a group. You are stepping into a living circle of people who are committed to the craft, to the land, and to one another.
What we believe in
At the heart of The Wyld Oath is a commitment to earth-rooted practice and genuine community. We honour the old ways and carry them forward with integrity and care. We believe in personal sovereignty, which means no single path is held above another here. We practise with humility, ethical awareness, and compassion for all beings. And we are bound not by rules, but by a shared love of the Wyld Path.
What we ask of our members
We ask that you show up as yourself, honestly and openly. Beyond that, we ask for:
Mindfulness towards others in the circle. Genuine interest in the coven and its members. A willingness to keep learning, whatever stage of the path you are on. Honesty and respect in all your interactions. Participation in gatherings and coven activities where you are able. We understand that life is full and not everything is possible, but as part of a community your presence, however you are able to offer it, matters.
Your first step — becoming a Seeker
When you apply to join The Wyld Oath, you will first be welcomed as a Seeker. This is an important and valued stage for both you and the coven. It gives us the chance to get to know one another properly, to see whether the connection feels right on both sides, and to make sure that this is truly the right path and the right community for you. There is no pressure and no rush. The Seeker stage is simply about finding out together whether this is where you belong.
